Look no further! Our leading client in the Wholesale Industry is seeking a Brand Sales Manager to join their dynamic team in Roodepoort.
As the Brand Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of growing brands. Leveraging your experience as a Chef, you will engage with end users and dealers within the Gauteng region, driving sales and expanding the client base. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your culinary expertise in a client-facing sales capacity.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (or equivalent) - Essential
- Relevant B Degree or tertiary qualification, or an acceptable combination of education and experience - Essential
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
- Excellent understanding of the market and customers
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes and functions
- Exceptional work ethic
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and actively prospect for the brands
- Drive the growth of new and current business for the assigned brands
- Develop a strong network through referrals and industry connections
- Conduct on-site training and provide regular follow-up and refresher training to customers
- Ensure sufficient stock availability for all customers
- Provide weekly progress reports to management
- Plan and execute visits to existing accounts within and outside of South Africa
- Address service issues or customer complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Foster close working relationships with customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively market and leverage the brands
- Support Key Account Managers in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities
- Maintain regular communication with the procurement team regarding strategic initiatives
