Our client, a stainless-steel products producer, is urgently looking for a Technical Sales Manager
Join our dynamic team as a Sector Manager in the Local Market! We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to take charge of managing a sector, compiling reports, coordinating customer orders, and ensuring smooth operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Compile and generate monthly reports, providing valuable insights to the business.
- Coordinate and manage customer order requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Close and balance the local month closure, maintaining financial accuracy.
- Handle local debtor issues related to direct customers, ensuring effective resolution.
- Liaise and coordinate with sales, delivery, and other commercial teams across all sectors.
- Collaborate with customers and production to expedite material flow and provide accurate feedback.
- Work closely with finance and logistics teams to manage debtors, accounts, and prioritize urgent shipments.
- Take charge of customer claims and provide satisfactory resolutions.
- Lead, supervise, train, and assess the Local Sales Administrators team, ensuring their continuous development.
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate Grade 12 with Math and Science.
- Diploma in a commercial/Marketing/technical field, demonstrating relevant knowledge.
- Familiarity with local and export processes, supplier and customer communication management, product knowledge, and systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills to effectively handle data and reports.
- 5-7 years of business/product knowledge and experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.
- Valid driver's license as occasional customer visits may be required.
