Job Title: Technical Due Diligence Director - Mining
Location: Abhu Dhabi (willingness to travel Internationally if needed)
A international Mining group with offices in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Technical Due Diligence Director
Duties:
- Being responsible for overseeing the technical due diligence efforts related to potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships in the mining industry
- Oversee the technical evaluation processes for potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships in the mining industry.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure comprehensive assessments are conducted
- Evaluate the technical aspects of mining assets and operations, including geological surveys, mining methods, processing facilities, infrastructure, and environmental consideration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, Geology, or a related technical field
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in the mining industry, with a strong technical background in mining operations, resource evaluation and project development
- Proven experience in leading technical due diligence processes for mining assets
- Strong understanding of mining regulations, environmental standards and health & safety requirements
