Job Description
A Mining house based in the North West region is looking for a experienced Mine Overseer (Shafts) for a Fixed Term Contract position.
Duties:
- Co-ordinate maintenance and monitor equipment availability to ensure adherence to production targets.
- Ensure legal compliance with regards to all operations within the services shaft barrel, including the logistics of all the material and conveying of personnel in and out of the services shaft
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Mine Overseer Certificate or Mine Managers Certificate
- Blasting Certificate
- Minimum of 10 years` experience in Shaft logistics and operations of which 5 years must be in a Shift Supervisor/ Shaft Foreman position in the mining industry.
