Job Description

My client is looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist (must be fluent in English and Afrikaans) to be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers. This role suits someone who is well-presented, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy office environment while maintaining a calm, welcoming presence

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers

  • Answer and direct calls professionally and efficiently

  • Provide administrative support to the office and wider team

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence

  • Maintain a neat, organised reception and front-office area

  • Assist with scheduling, filing, and general office administration

  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism


Experience & requirements

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or relevant diploma

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a receptionist or front-desk administration role

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail

  • Confident user of MS Word and Excel

  • Well-spoken, professional, and presentable

  • Self-motivated with a positive, energetic attitude

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)

  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced office environment
