Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Brand & Operations Manager to join our growing client in the software industry. To be based in Bryanston/Gauteng. This role is ideal for a creative professional with strong technical curiosity and a passion for modernising marketing operations. You'll play a pivotal role in driving growth, enabling efficiency through AI and automation, and ensuring a seamless experience for our audiences across multiple business units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth by managing full-funnel marketing (Acquisition and Retention) for the Bureau and Value-Added Services portfolio.
  • Act as the team's "Enablement Lead," identifying and implementing AI tools and automated processes to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate campaign governance to ensure a consistent, non-overlapping experience for the doctor audience across business units.
  • Compile, plan, and execute marketing and communication deliverables for assigned portfolios.
  • Establish and maintain a Centralised Campaign Calendar, collaborating with other Brand Managers for seamless scheduling and segmentation.
  • Audit traditional marketing processes and implement modern alternatives using AI and automation stacks.
  • Manage lead generation journeys from awareness to retention.
  • Develop high-quality marketing collateral with a strong emphasis on technical copywriting and digital-first content.
  • Align marketing delivery with commercial targets through effective stakeholder management.
  • Report on monthly expenditure, ROI, conversion rates, and adoption metrics.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in a Brand Management or Marketing Operations role.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and automation platforms.
  • Practical application of AI tools in marketing environments.
  • Proxy Tech Experience: Proven experience with Marketing Automation (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or workflow automation tools.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Acquisition and Retention marketing dynamics.
  • Systems thinking and ability to design processes from scratch.
  • Technical copywriting skills to simplify complex service offerings.
  • Data fluency for trend identification and marketing spend justification.
  • Familiarity with creative processes and supplier/agency management.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation, and workflow automation tools.
  • Ability to integrate AI tools for content, data synthesis, and workflow automation.
  • Competence in process mapping using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Lucidchart).
  • Data analytics skills (Google Analytics, social media insights, product usage data).
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms, SEO principles, and low-code automation tools.
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for budget management and data segmentation.
