Our client, a leading organization in the [industry/sector], is seeking an Organisational Design and Culture Manager to lead transformative HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in organizational design, change management, and talent development.

The Organisational Design & Culture Manager drives all HR transformation initiatives across South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana & Francos Business Strategy including:

 

  • Manage fixed costs in line with business strategy
  • Review country org models in line with business strategy, processes/tools, systems, capabilities and internal benchmarks
  • Facilitate change management interventions to deploy & successfully embed organisational change
  • Manage HR system to model new org structures or to maintain organisation change approvals
  • Audits business units to identify potential changes in job descriptions.
  • Designs and maintains rules for organizational structure creation and span of control.
  • Conducts regular audits of the organizational structure and recommends changes for efficiency.
  • Participates in HR projects and organization-wide projects.

Organisational Design

  • Lead the design and implementation of organizational structures to support business strategies.
  • Analyze current frameworks and processes to recommend improvements that align with business goals.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Design and implement talent development programs that drive performance and employee engagement.
  • Create succession planning and career development frameworks.
  • Develop initiatives that promote a high-performance culture and employee retention.

Culture

  • Create and implement strategies to promote a positive, collaborative company culture 
  • Overseeing Cultural Initiatives: coordinate cultural programs, events, and initiatives. This includes team-building activities, workshops, and community-building efforts.
  • Communication and Community Building: maintain open lines of communication to foster a sense of community and belonging among employees. 
  • Monitoring and Addressing Issues: monitor trends that could impact company culture and address any issues promptly. This includes managing feedback mechanisms to gauge employee satisfaction and culture fit.
  • External Representation:  ensure that the company culture is reflected in external communications, such as marketing materials and recruitment efforts.

Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • 8+ years of experience in organizational design and development, with proven end-to-end implementation experience.
    • Experience overseeing Culture, Change Management and Organizational Design
    • Strong expertise in designing and implementing organizational frameworks.
    • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
    • Proactive mindset, with a focus on driving results
