SENIOR OILSEED TRADER

Are you an experienced Oilseed Trader with a deep understanding of the agricultural commodities market? Do you thrive on spreads, physicals, and SAFEX trading? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

My client, a leading player in the oil and metals industry, are looking for a Senior Oilseed Trader to join their team. You will be responsible for trading oilseeds, driving market penetration, and maximizing profitability within this high-demand sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Execution: Execute trades in oilseeds across SAFEX and physical markets, ensuring competitive pricing and maximization of spreads.
• Risk Management: Actively manage risks, utilizing hedging strategies through futures, options, and spreads to mitigate exposure.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on pricing trends, supply and demand dynamics, and market forecasts to inform trading strategies.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, processors, and customers, while identifying new market opportunities.
• Deal Structuring: Negotiate and structure physical trading deals, ensuring contracts are in line with company objectives and market conditions.
• Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics of transporting physical goods, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in oilseed trading or agricultural commodities trading.
• In-depth knowledge of SAFEX, with experience in spreads and physical trading.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand market drivers and pricing mechanisms.
• A proven track record of generating profitable trading results.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
