Job Description

A Mining house based in the Northern Cape is looking for a Shift Supervisor Load & Haul for a 1yr Fixed Term Contract

Duties:

To plan and organize shift resources, including all loading tools and trucks, in order to execute the load and haul process in accordance with the daily pit schedule

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Blasting Certificate in Surface Mining / MQA equivalent qualification
  • Supervisory Certificate
  • Mine Overseer Certificate in Mining or National Diploma in Mining Engineering NQF 6 (advantageous)

  • Minimum of five (5) years operational general surface mining experience - Control Room / Quality Control / Machine Operator

    Minimum of one (1) year operational operator experience - Load and Haul or Auxiliary equipment 

    Minimum of one (1) year Supervisor / Team / Project Leader experience in a surface mining environment
