Position: Regional Project Manager

Location: Botswana, Remote Build Sites

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Project Manager to oversee all projects within our client's Tourism business in Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diverse teams of contractors and subcontractors across various disciplines, ensuring the timely and successful completion of projects while adhering to quality standards and budgetary constraints. Important to note that this is an opportunity for someone who is able and willing to live and work in rural set-up with basic accommodation on a camp site, little to no minimum internet access at the beginning of project, on single status. Similar project experience required and happy with very limited access to modern amenities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building & Construction Management, or related field. (Non-Negotiable due to Visa Requirements)
• 5 Years experience in a similar capacity, preferably on remote sites.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in construction or related industries.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools including: 
• Strong understanding of project accounting principles and earned value management.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Botswana as required.
• Note:  Rural accommodation on a camp site, little to no Wifi at the beginning of project. Similar project experience required and happy with very limited access to modern amenities.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven experience in the following is required:

• Lead and manage all aspects of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Coordinate and oversee teams of contractors and subcontractors including plumbers, carpenters, architects, solar providers, water providers, sewerage treatment plant providers, etc.
• Manage FF&E (Fittings, Fixtures, and Equipment) procurement and installation.
• Handle project accounts, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and delivering on earned value of the project.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Live on remote build sites in the wilderness of Botswana and demonstrate self-reliance.
