Our client, a market leader in the FMCG distribution sector, is looking to hire a vibrant, self-motivated Junior Sales Executive based in the northern suburbs of Durban

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for managing an existing client base while also developing new business in the retail food and forecourt sectors

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage existing customer base
• Source and initiate commercial opportunities with customers
• Develop new business opportunities
• Ensure products are merchandised correctly
• Submit daily reports
• Follow up on orders
• Manage returns
• Ensure customer accounts are paid in time
• Manage stock
• Drive sales with both existing and new clients
• Attend promotional activities
• Meet required sales targets

 Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Matric
• Experience calling on retail food chains and forecourts
• FMCG Sales experience essential
• Develop existing client
• Prospecting for new business  

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong relationship builder
• Hungry go-getter

Salary:

• Basic R10 - R20k per month (depending on experience) plus company car, fleet card, plus commission
