Job Description
Our client is seeking a Group Financial Director to join their team, based in Durban
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting for all companies within the group (local and international)
- Monitoring and managing cash flows
- Funding and facility negotiations
- Risk management and implementation of controls in the export environment, including credit control, costing, insurance, and more
- Managing agreements and legal matters
- Tax-related decisions and estate planning
- Administrative tasks
- Training and development
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Qualified CA (SA)
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a Financial Manager / Financial Director role
- Experience in the FMCG, Logistics or Export sectors ideal
- Experience managing foreign currency and controls
- Proven track record in overseeing financial operations for multiple companies - locally and internationally
- Strong understanding of South African tax laws with additional experience in Internation taxation advantageous
