Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support across our global offices. This role requires troubleshooting expertise across desktop systems, hardware, software, network infrastructure, and printers. The candidate will work remotely but may need to visit the Durban office occasionally for on-site support. This role will involve working with teams across multiple regions UK, Spain, South Africa, USA, and patience will be essential when assisting colleagues, particularly those who may face language barriers, such as our Spanish team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for Windows and Mac PCs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Offer support for printers, peripherals, and other IT-related equipment
  • Assist employees with software installations, updates, and technical enquiries
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth IT operations
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Client/ Endpoint Administrator Associateor CompTIA A+ equivalent
  • Microsoft MCSA /Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associateor CompTIA Network+ equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associateor CompTIA Security + equivalent (Advantageous)

Requirements:

  • Experience in desktop support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and network support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting
  • Willingness to visit the Durban office for occasional on-site support
  • Strong patience and communication skills
