Position Overview:

My cliient is looking for a diligent Credit Risk Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join their metals division. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, experience in credit risk reporting and analysis, and the ability to perform in-depth financial and economic analysis. This role involves monitoring and reviewing credit risks, delivering routine reports, and collecting and analyzing data for various reports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Credit Risk Monitoring:

  • Continuously monitor and review credit risks associated with the metals division.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

 

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Deliver routine credit risk reports to the team, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and report on credit risk data.
  • Prepare and present in-depth financial and economic analysis for various reports.

 

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze both micro and macroeconomic data relevant to the metals division.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other team members and departments to gather necessary information and provide comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within the commodities trading or metals industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial and economic analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in reporting and data collection.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to various audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with credit risk management software and tools.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager).
