CREDIT RISK ANALYST

Position Overview:
My cliient is looking for a diligent Credit Risk Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join their metals division. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, experience in credit risk reporting and analysis, and the ability to perform in-depth financial and economic analysis. This role involves monitoring and reviewing credit risks, delivering routine reports, and collecting and analyzing data for various reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor and review credit risks associated with the metals division.
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Deliver routine credit risk reports to the team, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and report on credit risk data.
- Prepare and present in-depth financial and economic analysis for various reports.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze both micro and macroeconomic data relevant to the metals division.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other team members and departments to gather necessary information and provide comprehensive risk assessments.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within the commodities trading or metals industry.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial and economic analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in reporting and data collection.
- Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to various audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with credit risk management software and tools.
- Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager).
