We're looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented maintenance professional with:
Join our family-owned company, in the Netherlands. You'll tackle hands-on troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and machinery adjustments to keep production lines running at peak efficiency. You'll focus on preventive maintenance, data-driven analysis, and continuous improvement to optimize our operations. Work closely with the team to contribute to the safety, quality, and optimal performance of the company.
Key qualifications include:
- Qualifications: Red Seal trade tested certification (Electrical/Mechanical), e.g., Millwright or Electrician.
- Experience:
- Solid1-3 years in technical roles in dairy, manufacturing, production or packaging.
- Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLC controls, and familiarity with NEN 3140 safety standards.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in a production environment.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch or Afrikaans and English.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and be available outside of regular hours for on-call duties OR Open to a 5-shift rotation schedule
- Leadership: Ability to lead and support contractors, offering a strong blend of hands-on and leadership skills.
- Background: Skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems, ideally with Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering experience. Basic PLC/ SCADA experience & Knowledge on Siemens S7.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
- Mindset: Proactive and strategic with short- and long-term focus.

- Serve as a technical expert in hands-on malfunction resolution, maintenance, repairs, modifications, and adjustments to ensure peak machinery performance.
- Collaborate with production staff to identify malfunctions' root causes and continuously improve machine efficiency and safety.
- Supervise contractor work as needed, ensuring all activities meet quality standards.
- Work within a small, dedicated team, reporting to the Team Leader of Corrective Maintenance.
- Develop and adjust preventive maintenance plans.
- Analyses of technical failures and identify improvements.
- Collaborate with the Head of Technical Services to align maintenance with production goals
