Job Description

A Mining house based in Central Africa is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics.

Duties:

Maintain, service and repair vehicles and generators to ensure their availability for surface and mining operations. Responsible for performing planned and preventative maintenance, undertaking backlogged repairs, and attending to breakdowns.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Qualified Artisan
  • 10+ years' relevant experience as an Artisan Diesel Mechanic working across a range of tools, techniques and equipment
  • Experience in the mining environment 
  • Yellow machine and generators preventative maintenance & breakdown experience
  • Underground experience
  • Workshop experience 
  • OEM diagnostic tools, machine-specific knowledge and experience
