Job Description

Our client is a leading nationwide service provider offering a range of solutions to customers, including appliance installations, gas and electrical installations, as well as electronic and mechanical repair and replacement services

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for motivated and target-driven Extended Warranty Sales Consultants to join their team. Positions are available nationally across South Africa

The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and selling Short Term Insurance products, identifying customer needs, and ensuring that customers understand the benefits, coverage, terms and conditions of the warranty products available to them

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell Extended Warranty products to new and existing customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable warranty solutions
  • Explain product benefits, coverage, terms and conditions clearly and accurately
  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Provide professional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Work closely with Sales staff to identify and maximise sales opportunities

 

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably within the retail industry
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Must have a valid South African ID

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales and selling abilities
  • Target-driven and self-motivated
  • Customer-focused with a professional approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work towards and achieve sales targets

 

Salary:

Basic salary of R5,200 plus commission
