Job Description
Our client, based in the Sibaya precinct, is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management and reporting functions of the business. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting and compliance, and manage a team of three finance staff members.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Analyse financial results and investigate variances against budget.
- Ensure accurate financial records, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Maintain effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor working capital, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
- Manage, support and develop a team of three finance staff members.
- Provide financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- Newly qualified CA(SA) - essential.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exposure to ERP or financial accounting systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
- Willingness to take a hands-on approach to financial management and team leadership.
