Our client, a leading organization in the [industry/sector], is seeking an Organisational Design and Culture Manager to lead transformative HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in organizational design, change management, and talent development.
The Organisational Design & Culture Manager drives all HR transformation initiatives across South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana & Francos Business Strategy including:
- Manage fixed costs in line with business strategy
- Review country org models in line with business strategy, processes/tools, systems, capabilities and internal benchmarks
- Facilitate change management interventions to deploy & successfully embed organisational change
- Manage HR system to model new org structures or to maintain organisation change approvals
- Audits business units to identify potential changes in job descriptions.
- Designs and maintains rules for organizational structure creation and span of control.
- Conducts regular audits of the organizational structure and recommends changes for efficiency.
- Participates in HR projects and organization-wide projects.
Organisational Design
- Lead the design and implementation of organizational structures to support business strategies.
- Analyze current frameworks and processes to recommend improvements that align with business goals.
- Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Design and implement talent development programs that drive performance and employee engagement.
- Create succession planning and career development frameworks.
- Develop initiatives that promote a high-performance culture and employee retention.
Culture
- Create and implement strategies to promote a positive, collaborative company culture
- Overseeing Cultural Initiatives: coordinate cultural programs, events, and initiatives. This includes team-building activities, workshops, and community-building efforts.
- Communication and Community Building: maintain open lines of communication to foster a sense of community and belonging among employees.
- Monitoring and Addressing Issues: monitor trends that could impact company culture and address any issues promptly. This includes managing feedback mechanisms to gauge employee satisfaction and culture fit.
- External Representation: ensure that the company culture is reflected in external communications, such as marketing materials and recruitment efforts.
Required Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in organizational design and development, with proven end-to-end implementation experience.
- Experience overseeing Culture, Change Management and Organizational Design
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing organizational frameworks.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proactive mindset, with a focus on driving results
