Financial Accountant - Investment Firm

Our loyal client which is a' boutique' investment company in La Lucia managing a diverse portfolio across 10 entities, including but, not limited to  properties, investments and trusts is seeking a skilled senior Financial Accountant who ticks all the boxes but,  is also looking for a role with greater flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations across all companies

• Support executive management with finance-related queries and guide optimal financial processes

• Maintain strong relationships with banks and service providers

• Collaborate closely with directors and assist with various adhoc tasks

• Conduct monthly reporting reviews and financial analysis

• Perform VAT and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis

• Assist in managing the annual budgeting process

• Prepare monthly and annual management reports for auditors

• Ensure timely statutory and tax preparation and submission

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Honours preferred

• Proven experience in financial management roles

• Ability to work effectively within a small team while handling confidential information

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Solid knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; Sage experience is advantageous

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
